Joy To The World
Joy to the world! the lord is come:
Let earth receive her king!
Let every heart prepare him room
And heaven and nature sing.
Joy to the earth! the saviour reigns:
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods rocks hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy.
No more let sins and sorrows grow
Nor thorns infest the ground:
He comes to make his blessings flow
Far as the curse is found.
He rules the earth with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of his righteousnes
And wonders of his love
Alegría en el mundo
¡Alegría en el mundo! El Señor ha venido:
¡Que la tierra reciba a su rey!
Que cada corazón le prepare lugar
Y el cielo y la naturaleza canten.
¡Alegría en la tierra! El Salvador reina:
Que los hombres empleen sus canciones
Mientras campos, ríos, rocas, colinas y llanuras
Repiten la alegría resonante.
Que no crezcan más los pecados y las penas
Ni las espinas infesten la tierra:
Él viene a hacer fluir sus bendiciones
Tan lejos como se encuentre la maldición.
Él gobierna la tierra con verdad y gracia,
Y hace que las naciones prueben
Las glorias de su justicia
Y las maravillas de su amor
