Firmament
And God said,
Let there be the lights
In the firmament of the heaven.
Let there be lights in heaven to divide the day from the night;
And let them be for signs, for seasons and for days, and years;
And let then be for lights in the firmament to give light upon the earth.
And it was so, and God made two great lights;
The greater light to rule the day,
And the lesser light to rule the night; the stars as well.
And God set them in the firmament to give light upon the earth,
And to rule over the day and over the night
And to divide the darkness from the light.
Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters
And God said,
Let the waters bring forth, abundantly, the moving creature that hath life,
And foul that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Y Dios dijo
Que haya las luces
En el firmamento del cielo
Que haya luces en el cielo para dividir el día de la noche
Y sean por señales, por estaciones, días y años
Y que entonces sean las luces en el firmamento para dar luz sobre la tierra
Y así fue, e hizo Dios dos grandes luces
La luz más grande para gobernar el día
Y la luz menor para gobernar la noche; las estrellas también
Y Dios los puso en el firmamento para dar luz sobre la tierra
Y para gobernar el día y la noche
Y dividir la oscuridad de la luz
Que haya un firmamento en medio de las aguas
Y Dios dijo
Que las aguas den a luz, en abundancia, a la criatura en movimiento que tiene vida
Y la falta que pueda volar sobre la tierra en el firmamento abierto del cielo
